Narrowboat Dusty For Sale.

I’m listing this narrowboat for sale on my website for a friend. Please use the details in this listing to contact him. If you contact me, it will lead to a delay in you getting an answer as I will have to forward the question on.

Dusty is a 30ft narrowboat which has a cruiser stern with the engine below the deck. Also below the deck is a calorifier which supplies the hotwater and the battey bank, 2 leisure and 1 starter battery. The boat is believed to have been built Seven Valley boats in 1989. It has recently had a new engine fitted, Canaline 25, which only has around 60 hours of runtime. Narrowboat Dusty was also taken out of the water to have the hull blacked and new anodes fitted. While it was out of the water the boatyard inspected the hull and welding work was carried out where required. Please be aware that Dusty does not have a current hull survey. Like buying a house it is the buyers responsibility to arrange for a survey to take place. (This way the buyer knows that the survey is unbiased). However the boat does have a Boat Safety Certificate (BSS) which expires in February 2020.

At the rear of the boat is a large cruiser deck with plenty of room for family & friends to stand. While moored the stern area can be covered with a pram type cover which gives loads of storage space while not on the move. Steps take you down into the boat. The steps are offset to the right hand side of the boat. Once into the boat you you find the toilet / shower room. The toilet is cassette type with flush water supplied from the boats water tank. Hot water for the is shower is supplied by the calorifer.

After the toilet / shower room is the galley (kitchen) area. The galley area has cupboard space and 12v fridge with a small freezer compartment. The galley has a gas cooker and a 4 ring gas hob.

After the Galley is the living area which has seats either side of the cabin, these seats join across the boat to make the bed. The living area has a cupboard with a draw for storage. Further storage is located below the seats. All onboard electricity is 12v. Dusty is fitted with LED lights in the galley and living area and has a 12v TV. Heating on the boat is provided by a solid fuel stove.

A pair of doors lead from the living area onto the bow deck. The bow deck is large enough for a couple of seats or for a large storage area. The bow deck has a cratch cover to protect the area from rain in poor weather or when not in use as a seating area.
